What types of animals do you care for?
We care for all domestic pets. Dogs, Cats, Puppies, Kittens, Ferrets, Tropical Fish, Turtles, Hamsters, Gerbils, Rabbits, Guinea Pigs, and Birds of all types.
Will I be ‘locked into’ weekly or monthly visits?
No. Once you are on file with us, you can schedule a visit when you need one. This is perfect for several of our clients who work overtime, or are delayed by a last-minute social obligation, or an unforeseen emergency. We can visit for an evening ‘tuck-in’ for your pet.
What should I expect during my consultation?
Our consultation is complementary. We will meet your pet family, and get to know their daily routine and lifestyle, and what makes them their happiest.
We will discuss our service agreement and policies with you. We can set up your service dates at that time, and obtain a house key.
Once you are established on file with us, future bookings are as simple as an email or call to our office.
What is your cancellation policy?
We understand that emergencies arise because of life’s uncertainties.
Should your plans change, we require a 24-hour notice prior to your scheduled visit for the first day.
If you return home without notification to us, you will be charged for that day.
Do you care for ‘Special Needs’ Pets?
Absolutely.
In most cases, we will provide your pets with routine medication administration at no extra charge.
We are experienced with the special emotional needs of pets from rescued backgrounds.
Are you insured?
Yes. The Pet Police is insured and bonded by Business Insurers of the Carolinas. Your pets and home are fully covered.
My pet just can’t be left home alone overnight.
Do you provide overnight care?
Yes.
If your pet/s are uncomfortable or not accustomed to being left at home alone overnight, and a boarding kennel is not an option, we’ll stay at your home, stay with, comfort, and care for your pets.
We will provide you the peace of mind of knowing that your home is safe, and your best friend is sleeping peacefully at home.
